We will be at the wonderful Gateway Classic Cars again this month. There will be plenty of seating for all who attend. They will supply bottled water and coffee. Please bring your own dinner or eat before the meeting. When the meeting is over you will have time to explore the showroom and see all the beautiful cars they have for sale.

This has been one of ZCCC’s most popular events and the Dermans are excited to once again open their home to members and their guests. Junkyard Jenny at Bandimere August 20th \n\n\n  \n\n\nWhen: August 20\, 2023 \n\n\nTime: Doors open at 8:00 am and you are welcome to get there then\, but we will be meeting at 9:15 at the Entrance Ticket Gate \n\n\nWhere: Bandimere Speedway-3051 S Rooney Rd\, Morrison\, CO 80465 \n\n\nCost: $22 per person for event spectating and $20 for parking \n\nZCCC Host: Vince Nicoletti \n\n\n\n\nJenny Boyd would love to have a group from ZCCC join her on August 20th as she races her dragster on Shop Wars Day. Vince watched her once last year and once this year and it’s exciting to watch someone you actually know\, out there putting it all on the line. She will be available between races if anyone wants to talk about cars. Tickets are $22.00 and can be purchased ahead of time at Bandimere’s website or on race day at the ticket booth at the entrance and Parking is $20.00. By the way this is Bandimere’s 65th and final year at this location. If you intend to do carpooling\, it is suggested that you organize groups on your own. On race day there will be several classes of racers\, doors open at 8:00 am and if anyone wants to catch any of those they will be on their own. Jenny races in the PSCA small tire division which she says will begin around 9:30 to 10:00 am. We will meet at the entrance gate ticket window on race day at 9:15 and begin by sitting together at first\, then members could wander and leave on their own. There is food and drink available so we could make a day of it and. The featured car club receives: \n                 -Reserved Parking \n                 -Goodie Bags \n                 -Social Media Posts to Thousands \n                 -Up to $200 Donation to Club \n                 -Club Group Photo \n  \nOn August 26\, there will be a special reserved space in the Gateway south parking lot for ZCCC members to line up their Z cars for display. Z cars should arrive about 8:45am so we can have them lined up by 9:00 am. The public will be invited and can display their cars in other parts of the south parking lot. Car owners can be available to discuss their vehicles. In the parking lot\, car owners may set up folding chairs by their vehicles. The public is invited to walk around and view all the cars both outside and inside in the showroom where there are about 200 cars mostly for sale. Coffee and pastries will be available for all. There also may be food trucks like last year. Gateway employees will be available to discuss their operation and the cars in the showroom. Gateway Classic Cars Staff Member Devin deSimone will be our contact to coordinate the August 26 Event. \n  \nThe Gateway Classic Cars facility is most easily accessed by taking E-470 Peoria exit (Exit 2)\, proceeding north on Peoria to Compark Blvd. where you turn right and head East toward American Furniture Wearhouse. Turn left on Highfield Pkwy. Proceed North to the facility at the intersection on Grassfield Drive.  The facility can also be accessed from the North . Take Potomac St. off Arapahoe Rd. As you proceed South Potomac turns into Chambers Rd\, that will the intersect Grasslands Dr. Turn right and proceed West to the facility. The address appears on the West face of the building. There is also probably a way to get there from Parker Rd. The main entrance is in the North side of the Building\, but this event is in the parking lot  on the south side. Turn in there and proceed to the spot designated for ZCCC.
