You’ll come upon it just after the Interquest Parkway Exit and before Briargate Parkway. Meeting time at the Overlook is 11am. DESCRIPTION:FORNEY MUSEUM OF TRANSPORTATION \n4303 Brighton Blvd. \nMarch 21\, 2026 \n10:00 AM \n$17 adults\, $14 seniors + 65 \nHost Andy Mortensen \nWe haven’t been to the Forney Museum of Transportation since 2017\, so I think it’s about time for another visit.  We’re going to meet at the museum at 10:00 AM on Saturday\, March 21st. The museum is located at 4303 Brighton Blvd. immediately south of I-70 in Denver.  They have many interesting transportation related exhibits including a six wheeled Hispano Suiza touring car\, Amelia Earhart’s 1923 Kissel ‘Gold Bug’\, a Union Pacific Big Boy locomotive\, a 1913 Indian Motorcycle and a Case steam tractor.  The featured exhibit for the month of March will be Hot Rods.  The cost of admission is $17.00 for adults and $14.00 for seniors 65+.

Their theme: Back To The Future. \nThe rally is a gimmick-style road rally\, under 30 miles long\, set up on city streets. All car\, truck\, and 4X4 clubs are welcome\, as are independents. Trophies will be awarded in both Van and Open classes. \nTrophies\, dash plaques\, games\, music\, drinks\, and food are available at the end of the rally.

DESCRIPTION:Gran Turismo is a movie based on the true story of a young Englishman named Jann\nMardenborough. The film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo\nvideo game player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become\nan actual professional driver on the Nissan racing team. \nYou may remember that we mentioned this movie in the Odometer a couple months\nago. Well\, we’ve finally found a venue where we can all watch the movie together. The\nForney Museum has agreed to allow us to use their meeting room for a viewing. We\nplan to meet there on Saturday\, May 2nd\, at 1:00 PM. Some of you will recall our visit to\nthe museum in March. It’s located at 4303 Brighton Boulevard in Denver\, next to the\nDenver Coliseum. The movie will be free of charge\, but Seating will be limited so please\nnotify Andy Mortenson if you plan to attend.
