The Wild Animal Sanctuary is the largest rescue organization on the planet for abused, neglected, and abandoned carnivores. This is not a zoo, it is a final home for lions, tigers, bears, wolves, mountain lions, lynx, coyotes, and other exotic animals to spend the rest of their lives, in spacious natural living quarters, good nutrition, and medical care amongst others of their kind. Be sure to go to the website to learn far more about this amazing place.
Please bring hats, sunscreen, water, cameras, binoculars, and appropriate clothing for the Colorado prairie in summer.
We will have reserved parking near picnic tables in the Visitors Center. Bring a picnic lunch or you can purchase food and beverages at the grill.
Pets are NOT welcome at the sanctuary.
