The tasting room at The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey has been designed to make

your wine experience truly memorable.

Join other ZCCC members to enjoy the

beautiful outdoor garden setting while viewing thriving vineyards growing against

the majestic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.

AWARD-WINNING WINES…AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

The Winery offers a variety of Tasting and Tour Packages for those visiting the winery.

I’m looking at three options for us, but I think and suggest that option #3 is

the best choice.

1) Enjoy a VIP wine tasting on the tasting room terrace, for $40.00 per person. This includes your own private host, guiding you through a sampling of all of our wines available, including reserves. A charcuterie board with packaged meats, cheeses, olives, and nuts is

provided to accompany your wine tasting.

2) Standard Wine Flight Tasting and Tour Package. A tour and tasting package include a 15-minute tour of the production facility crush pad operations, a standard wine flight, optional a la carte charcuterie items at discounted pricing, and a 20% off coupon on all tasting and gift shop purchases of wine and merchandise. Advanced reservations and a minimum of 8 guests or more are required.

3) I think the best choice for experience and for the money is a combo of the elements of #1 and #2, which would include tasting of all their wines, a private host, a   charcuterie board, plus the tour of the Abbey/Winery. This Package goes for $50.00 pp, combining

the best of everything for only $10.00 more than just doing #1 or #2; more wine, plus

Charcuterie, plus Tour. A great deal! This choice requires a minimum of 8 guests.

** BTW, they are dog-friendly to well-behaved dogs, while we enjoy the day!

I have a couple of dates to suggest: Saturday, July 11, or Sunday July 12th.

Hours: I’m looking at getting to Holy Cross by 12 noon, either day.

Using Cabella’s Parking Lot at 10670 Cabela Dr., Lone Tree, CO as our meeting point, we’ll drive to Holy Cross together for those that want to meet up to do that, or you can meet us there. It is approximately 95 miles, with a driving time of 1 hour, 31 minutes. That said, the tentative meeting time would be 9:45am, with wheels up by 10:10am.

Extra: For those that would like to, we could catch a late lunch or early dinner on the way back.
