Membership Information

The Z Car Club of Colorado is a non-profit organization formed in 1983. The ZCCC is a charter member of the Z Car Club Association. Membership is based on interest in cars and ownership is not required. Those who like 510s and Roadsters are also welcome. We are devoted to membership participation and input – new ideas bring about new activities!

Membership applications are also available at the general meetings and you can make your payment at the same time if you wish. Your account will be updated once payment has been received and processed.


General Meetings

General meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of the month. Currently, we are meeting via Zoom from November through April. In May we will begin meeting in person.  Please visit this website for dates and meeting locations. The information is also in the Odometer and on Facebook. General Elections

Elections are held every year at the September meeting either in person or via Zoom link.. Elected offices include President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Inter-Club Liaison, Public Relations and Odometer Editor. Nominations are taken from the floor at August General meeting, nominations committee is formed in May/ June to solicit for open positions and interested individuals.


Active Member Points

Points are given throughout the year on the following basis:

  • 1 point for attending general meetings
  • 1 point for attending any other event
  • 4 points for coordinating or chairing an event
  • 2 points to co-chair an event

Club members are considered an “Active Member” by earning 15 points during the year. The “Most Active Member” is the individual with the highest number of points.


President’s Award

The President may make an annual award to (a) deserving member(s) of ZCCC based on contributions made by the member(s) to the benefit of ZCCC.


Board Meetings

The Board meets at 6:00PM the first Tuesday before the general meeting at 6:00 PM via Zoom unless otherwise published in the Odometer. Members are welcome to attend the meeting.


The Odometer

The Odometer is the official publication of the ZCCC. It is published monthly and e-mailed to all members, advertisers and others. Members are encouraged to write articles and submit ideas.
Commercial advertising space is available at reasonable rates and member ads are free in the Classifieds section.


Discounts

Club members are offered various discounts at a number of businesses. These include a wide variety of services and automotive parts.
