Membership Information

Information about the ZCCC and how to become a member.

The Z Car Club of Colorado is a non-profit organization formed in 1983. We currently have approximately 175 members from Colorado and several others states. The ZCCC is a charter member of the Z Car Club Association. Membership is based on interest in cars and ownership is not required. Those who like 510s and Roadsters are also welcome.
We are devoted to membership participation and input – new ideas bring about new activities!


Applications

Credit Card Payments: To submit an application with a credit card as a form of payment, click here

Checks: To mail in an application with a check payment, click here. Membership applications are also available at the general meetings and you can make your payment at the same time if you wish. Your account will be updated once payment has been received and processed.


General Meetings

General meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of the month. Meetings are at Overland Park Golf Course 1801 South Huron Street, Denver. Meals usually start around 6:00PM, meetings start at 7:00PM. They last for about an hour and a half with club business followed by a speaker or demonstration.


General Elections

Elections are held every year at the September meeting. Elected offices include President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Inter-Club Liaison, Public Relations and Odometer Editor. Nominations are taken from the floor at August General meeting, nominations committee is formed in May/ June to solicit for open positions and interested individuals.


Active Member Points

Points are given throughout the year on the following basis:

  • 1 point for attending general meetings

  • 1 point for attending any other event

  • 4 points for co-ordinating or chairing an event

  • 2 points to co-chair an event

Club members are considered an “Active Member” by earning 15 points during the year. The “Most Active Member” is the individual with the highest number of points.


President’s Award

This award is a traveling plaque designed to recognize one individual for outstanding effort toward the club. This award is based solely on effort and not points.


Board Meetings

The Board meets at 6:00PM at the same location and same date as the general meeting unless otherwise published in the Odometer. Members are welcome to attend the meeting.


The Odometer

The Odometer is the official publication of the ZCCC. It is published monthly and e-mailed to all members, advertisers and others. Members are encouraged to write articles and submit ideas.
Commercial advertising space is available at reasonable rates and member ads are free in the Z Trader section.


Discounts

Club members are offered various discounts at a number of businesses. These include a wide variety of services and automotive parts.


Mentor Program

This voluntary program connects an experienced club member with a new member. In this way, information on meetings, activities and organized events is passed on that may otherwise be more difficult for new members to learn about.
