    I have a 1970 240z.  I really want to put an SR20Det motor in.

I’m not sure what these motor and tranny’s go for.

I called Rebello and they confirmed that this was in fact a Rebello motor.

Can you guys give me insight on what they are going for and also if you’d be interested in purchasing this motor/tranny combo.

    Thanks,

    George

Keep the engine, its most likely numbers matching hence why the previous owner went with that engine build and not an L28. You have a low number series 1 vehicle which are appreciating in price quite a bit. The original cars will always demand more money. One of the classic car magazines had a series one on the cover that went over 38k.

It depends on which rebello motor…They do many variations…Also how many miles on the motor?  Was the transmission also rebuilt?  Which 5 speed?  With all of the unknowns it is hard to give you a good answer.

I am looking for a motor for my 72.  I have an opportunity to get a 2.8 engine that was rebuilt 5k ago with a 4 speed  transmission from a guy that is doing a LS1 swap for $500
